Gujarat: Bomb threat at Ahmedabad railway station, disposal squad at the spot
Some reports said the police received an anonymous letter threatening an explosion at the junction.
Ahmedabad’s Kalupur railway station received a bomb threat on Thursday afternoon. A team of police officers, a dog squad and a bomb disposal squad were deployed to the station after security forces received the message, ANI reported.
There are conflicting reports on how the threat was made. Some reports say that the Gujarat Police received an anonymous letter making the bomb threat. According to TV9 Gujarati, the police control room received a phone call from an unknown caller telling them about a bomb on platform 1 of the Kalupur railway station.
