Prince Harry engaged to American actress Meghan Markle, will get married in 2018
The couple is expected to take part in a broadcast interview later on Monday.
Britain’s Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle are engaged and their wedding will take place in 2018, Prince Charles said in a statement on Monday.
Kensington Palace said the couple got engaged in London earlier in November and that Queen Elizabeth II and other close members of the Royal family were informed. The couple will live in Nottingham cottage at Kensington Palace.
Prince Harry and Markle are expected to take part in a broadcast interview that will be aired later on Monday.
Markle’s parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, said they were “incredibly happy” to see their daughter’s union with Prince Harry, “who shares the same qualities”.
