After Kevin Spacey’s exit, the sixth and final season of Netflix’s House of Cards will revolve around Robin Wright, the company announced on Monday. Spacey was dropped from the show after he was accused of sexual misconduct by actor Anthony Rapp, and eight House of Cards employees among others.

Wright plays Claire Underwood, who, at the end of the fifth season, becomes America’s first female president after taking over from her husband Frank Underwood (Spacey). Comprising eight episodes instead of the usual 13, the final season will begin production in 2018.

The first five seasons chronicled the story of American Congressman Frank Underwood, who hatches a plan with his wife to avenge the politicians who wronged him.

“We’re really excited about bringing some closure to the show for fans,” Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos, said at a conference on Monday. “We’re excited for the 370 people who make House of Cards and have done the best work of their lives on that show; for the 2,000 people in Baltimore who have come to depend on that show for their jobs. And so we’re really excited that we were able to come to a good creative conclusion to the show.”
