The Army on Thursday said it raided a terror hideout in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district and recovered rifles, 289 rounds of ammunition, grenades and Hizbul Mujahideen donation books, PTI reported.
An Army officer told the news agency that a team acted on intelligence inputs and launched a search operation in the Majmi area on Thursday morning. They located a cave in which several weapons and ammunition were stored, and recovered two rifles – an AK-47 and an AK-56 – five magazines for the rifles, a grenade launcher and two grenades, 289 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition for AK-47 and AK-56 and Hizbul Mujahideen’s donation receipt book and papers.
