Jammu and Kashmir: Nine security personnel injured in grenade attack near Tral bus stand
Five of the injured personnel were from the Central Reserve Police Force, and four from the state police.
Nine security personnel were injured after suspected militants threw a grenade at their vehicle in Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, ANI reported. The incident took place near the bus stand in Tral.
Five of the injured personnel were from the Central Reserve Police Force, the police said. The others were state police personnel. The information is still preliminary, the police added.
The militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the attack, Greater Kashmir reported.
The injured were taken to the sub-district hospital in Tral, according to Kashmir Reader.
