The police in Uttar Pradesh arrested three men on Friday for allegedly abducting and molesting a woman in Unnao. The police are looking for four others, one of whom filmed the incident. Police officer Anoop Singh told ANI they were trying to track down the source of the video.

Additional Director General Anand Kumar said the police have identified the woman and will take her to the police station and record her statement, ANI reported. “She said she was raped while she was on her way to buy medicine,” Kumar said. “The accused offered her a lift, but took her to a secluded spot and raped her instead.”

The case is two months old, but the woman had not filed a complaint earlier, said Praveen Kumar, the deputy inspector general.

The police identified those arrested as Rahul, Vimal and Akash and the absconding men as Pavan, Ritik, Rahul and Vipin, Hindustan Times reported. Unnao Superintendent of Police Harish Kumar said the seven-member gang is believed to have abducted the woman from her house on Saturday. “The arrested men are being questioned for information on the whereabouts of their accomplices,” he added.
