Jammu and Kashmir: Suspected militants fire at police team in Sopore, no injuries reported
The security forces have cordoned off the site of the attack and launched a search operation to nab the attackers.

Suspected militants opened fire at a police team in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday, PTI reported. No casualties were reported.
The gunmen reportedly fired at the police personnel in the bypass area of Sopore town. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to nab the militants, the police said.

On Monday, a police officer was killed and another injured after militants opened fire at a police post guarding the home of a National Conference leader in Pulwama district.
