A 19-year-old taekwondo player who admitted that she had lost her foetus on board an AirAsia flight on Thursday said she was not aware of her pregnancy, reported PTI. Her brother-in-law also said that the family also did not know she was pregnant. However, the woman refused to undergo a medical examination.
Cabin crew discovered the body of the newborn, reportedly wrapped in toilet paper, when they were preparing the flight for landing in Delhi. In a statement, the airline said that the newborn was found lifeless and abandoned.
