Jammu and Kashmir: Fire breaks out in Srinagar hotel, no casualties reported
More than 20 fire tenders were rushed to Hotel Pamposh.

A fire broke out in a six-storey hotel building in Srinagar’s Regal Chowk area on Saturday, reported ANI. A fire-fighting operation is underway at Hotel Pamposh and no loss of life has been reported so far.
Srinagar Deputy Commissioner Syed Abid Rasheed Shah said 20-22 fire tenders are at the spot, reported ANI. Teams of the State Disaster Response Force and emergency services are helping in the rescue operations, he said.
Shah said everyone inside the building was evacuated to safety. However, a firefighter was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
According to an eyewitness, the fire started on the top floor of the building that houses offices of many news channels, reported Greater Kashmir.
