The Central Bureau of Investigation raided nine locations in five cities in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case, reports said on Monday. The locations included Bora's maternal grandparents’ house in Guwahati, where her brother Mikhail Bora lives, along with the homes of all three accused in the case – Indrani Mukherjea, her driver Shyamvar Rai and ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna. A Mumbai court on Monday also extended the judicial custody of all three accused till October 31.
Sheena Bora, Indrani’s 25-year-old daughter, was murdered on 24 April, 2012. Her body was burnt and disposed of in a forest in Maharashtra's Raigad district the following day. The Mumbai Police arrested Indrani Mukherjea in August this year.
