Here is a smart post-release marketing idea: the sets of the recently released Tamil film Velaikkaran (Worker) are now open to the public in Chennai. Starring Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Fahadh Faasil, the movie has been directed by Mohan Raja.

Sivakarthikeyan plays Arivu, a poor young man from a slum in Chennai who fights against corrupt manufacturing companies after being recruited as a salesperson. The film deals with food adulteration and the exploitation of workers. The December 22 release opened to mixed reviews, but has raked in the crowds, encouraging producer 24AM Studios to throw open the the film’s sets on Saturday to the public.

The sets will stay open till the Pongal weekend.
