Watch: The top 20 winners of a contest to create a 15-second horror film
This is the third year of the online contest.
Among the plethora of horror videos on the internet, one compilation stands out simply because each of the films is 15 seconds long. The videos are the top 20 clips of the 15 Second Horror Challenge, which is a yearly international nonprofit filmmaking contest.
Founded by filmmaker Andrew JD Robinson in 2013, the festival this year saw over 300 entries, out of which 81 were ranked by a panel of judges. The entries are all amateur films. While there are no expensive production setups or fancy CGI, some of them are so gory that they will leave you terrified.
