After the success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, T-Series and Luv Films have announced their next production, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles. The untitled project will be directed by film editor Akiv Ali.
Luv Ranjan’s comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has emerged as a big hit, mopping up an estimated Rs 82 crores since its release on February 23. “The story promises to be a fresh take on urban relationships,” the companies said in a press release. “Devgn will be seen essaying an edgy character that is sure to connect with today’s youth.”
T-Series head Bhushan Kumar added, “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’s win at the box office is testimony to what happens when two teams collaborate on a project, fuelled by passion and the desire to create good content. We are hopeful that guided by Luv Ranjan’s creative streak and meticulous craftsmanship we will continue to give the audience many more clutter-breaking films in the future.”
