“Life is messy and there is nothing we can do to control it,” Irrfan’s Robert says in the trailer of his upcoming American film Puzzle. Marc Turtletaub’s movie stars Kelly Macdonald as Agnes, a housewife whose life is stuck in a rut. But her life changes when she realises that she has a gift for assembling puzzles. She teams up with Robert, a champion puzzler, to compete in a jigsaw tournament.
The film, which also stars David Denman, is an official remake of Natalia Smirnoff’s 2010 Argentinian film of the same name, which in turn has been compared to the French film Queen to Play (2009). Puzzle will be released on July 13.
