Actor Shiva is back to parody every cliched hero in the Tamil film universe in his upcoming spoof Tamizh Padam 2. This time around, he is a police officer.
Parodies of scenes from Vijay’s Mersal (2017), Ajith’s Mankatha (2011), Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan starrer Vikram Vedha (2017) and even Baahubali (2015) feature in the 40-second teaser.
Directed by CS Amudhan, Tamizh Padam 2 is a sequel to the hit film Tamizh Padam (2010), which takes down the common elements and story arcs associated with popular Tamil cinema. Also starring Iswarya Menon, Disha Pandey, Satish and Manobala, the film will be released in July 2018.
