Actor and producer Priyanka Chopra is working on a collection of personal essays and stories titled Unfinished, which will be published by Penguin Random House India, the company announced today. The book will be out in 2019.

Unfinished will be simultaneously published in the United States of America, where Chopra recently made her mark as a television and film actress, and in the United Kingdom. The announcement comes on the heels of an unauthorised biography on Chopra by Mumbai journalist Bharathi S Pradhan, titled Priyanka Chopra The Dark Horse. Another similarly unauthorised chronicle of Chopra’s rise to stardom after winning the Miss World crown in 2000 is reportedly in the works.

Chopra, who produces films under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures and is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, issued a press statement on Unfinished: “The flavor of the book will be honest, funny, spirited, bold, and rebellious, just like me. I have always been a private person; I’ve never spoken about my feelings during my journey but I am ready to do so now. I was raised to be fearless when it came to opinions, and I would like to tell my story in the hopes of inspiring people–especially women–to change the conversation, to shatter glass ceilings. Women are always told we can’t have everything. I want everything, and I believe anyone else can have it too. I’m proof of it.”
