The Tamil and Telugu remake of Pawan Kumar’s Kannada thriller U Turn (2016), starring Samantha Akkineni, will be released on September 13. Kumar returns to direct the remake, which also stars Aadhi, Bhumika Chawla and Rahul Ravindran.

The Kannada hit centred on a young journalist (Shraddha Srinath) who inspects the mysterious deaths of motorists flouting a traffic rule at a Bengaluru flyover. Akkineni will next be seen in Kumararaja Thiyagaraja’s Super Deluxe and Ponram’s Seema Raja alongside Sivakarthikeyan.
