Hansal Mehta’s next movie is a social comedy titled Turram Khan, the filmmaker announced on Twitter on Monday. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha and will be produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, who is a partner at Ranjan’s Luv Films.
This is Mehta’s sixth project with Rao after Shahid (2013), City Lights (2014), Aligarh (2015), the web series Bose: Dead/Alive (2017) and Omerta (2018). Rao was last seen in Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy Stree (2018).
Nushrat Bharucha’s credits include Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) and the Pyar Ka Punchnama franchise. Rao and Bharucha were both in Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010).
