In the narrow lanes of Nepal, I seek what is lost
In the ruins left behind by the earthquake, people seek a pillar to lean against. As I wander among them, a Nepali Poem that I happened to read, completes the emotion present in this picture.
Remorse!
I closed my eyes
When things were going wrong,
Avoiding myself from being hurt.
Always wanted to feel strong.
I believed….that it is just the right thing to do,
And why not? If it gives eternal satisfaction to you.
But as things went from bad to worse,
Closing my eyes wouldn’t skip my remorse.
I have nothing to lean against.
The armor of ignorance is torned.
I am awake now But my world…around is burned.. - Prajeet
