Glynis Johns (1923-2024): Remembering the ‘Mary Poppins’ actor with some of her best-known roles
Glynis Johns’s career spanned more than six decades.
Glynis Johns taught me and many others in my generation (and beyond!) about feminism in MARY POPPINS. #RIPGlynisJohns pic.twitter.com/jno2LOG5j8

R.I.P. to the wonderful Glynis Johns. Throughout her eight-decade career, she played suffragette Mrs. Banks in MARY POPPINS (1964) and was the leading lady in one of my all-time favorite comedies, THE COURT JESTER (1955). Her unique breathy voice is just a pleasure to listen to. pic.twitter.com/10ky9tTtbu
