Islamabad has emerged as a key mediator that has got the US and Iran to declare a ceasefire and talk to each other for the first time since the Islamic Revolution.

While the talks have for now been called off, with the US saying it will navally blockade Iran, does the summit in Islamabad itself mean a shot in the arm for Pakistan’s global image?
