He might have a tongue-twister of a name, but on Sunday, the 18-year old Lallianzuala Chhangte proved that his name was on every Indian football fan’s lips after a fine performance against Nepal, where he became India’s youngest goal-scorer.

Chhangte did not start the match and was substituted in at half-time. But it was in the 81st minute that he put on an exhibition of his talent, cutting in from the right just inside the box, switching to his weaker left foot and hitting a curling screamer into the upper left corner. If the description sounds salivating, watch the video above to see the exquisite goal with your own eyes.

Not to be outdone by himself, Chhangte scored another goal in the 90th minute with a header. Thanks to his two goals, India defeated Nepal 4-1 in the second match of their South Asian Football Federation 2015 Suzuki Cup campaign to book a semi-final spot.

India had fallen behind in the third minute to a Bimal Magar goal, but fought back through a Borges goal in the 26th minute and a Chhetri finish in the 68th. Chhange then capped the night with two lovely goals.
