What do you get when you combine a love of football with ping pong?

The answer is "headis", a sport which takes the best of football and table-tennis and combines it one unique, adrenalin-pumping sport. Which involves using only your head, a la football, to play the ball across the net, a la table-tennis.

If this description leaves you scratching your head, you're not using your head the right way. Do yourself a favour and watch the video above. The incredible rally at the Headis Masters 2016 between two players, known only as "Sniper" and "Headsinfarkt", will leave you mind-blown.

Headis is an actual sport, invented in 2006 in Germany by a student called Rene Wagner. Participants use a seven inch long rubber ball, which weighs 100 grams, and are allowed to touch the board with any part of their body. Like table tennis, each game is played up to 11 points and two sets.

The game has grown in popularity in Germany and if it continues to throw up more insane moments like the one above, it probably isn't too long before it achieves world domination!
