Arnab Goswami, defender of nation's rights and nightly bludgeoner of thought, has been on a mission to call out the "anti-nationals" studying in Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University. A section of the nation on whose behalf he claims to speak are not happy with Goswami. His "debate" with the JNU students where he labelled them anti-national, bullied them and didn't let them get a word in sideways, has people even questioning if all's well with him mentally.

His histrionics have been the source of internet humour for some time now. Starting with the famous "Dented and Painted Remix", there have been other remixes and spoofs for some years now. Besides anchor, editor, caricature and nationalist, he is also now a meme.

It is astounding how night after night Goswami finds something to be angry about. For any first time watcher of his show the experience one assumes will be one of shock and horror.

Below a video by a Youtube channel Clipko where children react to Goswami. The experience of being a guest on his show is described by one of the kids as, "just like you invite someone for dinner and then ask them to pay the bill."

Well known for not letting his guests (of which he invites many) speak, his go to phrase to interrupt people "one minute" was compiled into this remix:

There have been some interesting interactions on the show as well, when Goswami's guests are as belligerent as him. Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra famously showed Goswami the middle finger on his show, irritated that he wouldn't let her speak.

In one of the funnier episodes of the Newshour BJP's Subramanian Swamy schooled Goswami, calling him an ignoramus, stupid and hilariously "dumbo", which was of course turned into a remix:

The Newshour is also content provider to several comedy sketches. Comedy Troupe "The Viral Fever" ran a whole series of videos called Barely Speaking with Arnub. Below one of the most popular sketches:

The spoof below by Cyrus Broacha mocks Goswami's narcissistic belief that he is the voice of the nation and that he is surrounded by hypocrites.

Clearly in denial about his "debating" style, in December last year Goswami schooled his guests on the proper way to conduct a debate.
