Watch: The ‘Love Charger’ makes it to the 'Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's extraordinary song gets time on the show’s ‘Do Not Play’ section.
A whole lot of us in India have unfortunately been exposed to the travesty that is Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's music. One of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief’s most popular tracks, Love Charger, from the album Highway Love Charger has now made its international debut – in somewhat unfavourable circumstances.
Played on a recent episode of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, it led the show’s "Do Not Play" section (video above).
Fallon here speculates whether it is a rock song or a romantic ballad. The song comes on, as does a pained expression on his face. He warms up to it though and starts mouthing the lyrics, before asking for it to end. The song got playtime of a few seconds.
It isn't easy listening to this song, or watching it. The video depicts Singh, with curly body hair and all, trying to perform a la a rock concert. It is deeply disturbing.
