This comedy act on text-based flirtations is over the top because of the anchors, not the players
FML. No, it does not mean what you think it does.
There's a new game in town. It's called the Flirty Messaging League. And it's brought to us by AIB, who have, among other things, taken the pronunciation of English words to places it has never been before.
In this wicked twist on reality shows, a young woman and a man exchange flirtatious text messages with the objective of winning – which, in this case, appears to be securing a date. What could have been just a pedestrian conversation between two high-on-hormones individuals becomes hilarious thanks to the presence of the anchors, who provide a barrage of excited and outrageous lines describing what is going on.
Naturally, the anchors steal the show. Whether hearts are stolen or not.
