Caught on camera in Mumbai: Two men attack and stab employee of Bandra-Worli Sealink toll booth
The two accused have been arrested by the Bandra police and the victim is in intensive care at Lilavati Hospital.
Two men were caught on camera as they assaulted and stabbed a toll booth employee at the Bandra-Worli Sealink in Mumbai after refusing to pay the toll.
Around 5 pm on Sunday, the two accused were travelling from Worli to Bandra in an Innova. In the video, their car can be seeing driving up to the toll booth, after which they refuse to pay.
One of the men in the car, identified as Paleshwar Chavan, is seen pulling out a knife and stabbing the toll booth employee in the stomach. When Chavan and his companion Rahul Rege try to flee, but are caught by others at the booth.
According to reports, Chavan and Rege have been booked under Sections 326, 323, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code by the Bandra police. The victim has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital.
