Watch (and look away if you can): When 11 baby pandas made their public debut together
The cubs couldn’t seem to hold their excitement. Can viewers?
There’s good news from a giant panda research base in China. Eleven panda cubs made a grand public debut in southwest China’s Chengdu city, the result of a boosted birth rate thanks to artificial breeding.
In the video (above), the adorable cubs are seen on the stage, as the caretakers have a hard time lining them up for the public. The babies seem more interested in playing. Naturally.
The group of baby pandas includes three sets of twins, all born in 2017. It was reported that singer Sun Nan was present at the debut ceremony, and was given the title of “Panda Music Ambassador” for public service cooperation.
