Watch: Missed ‘Stranger Things’ Season 1? Here’s Eleven from the show rapping a recap for you
‘Let’s go back to Indiana, circa 1983, just four boys in the basement chillin’ playin’ D&D.’
Millie Bobby Brown, the 13-year-old actor who plays Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things is a phenomenal, award-winning actor, but also has another talent – formidable rapping skills.
Last year she showed off her flow on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, when she performed Nicki Minaj’s Monster, and did it again at the Golden Globes’ opening ceremony. As she stopped by Fallon’s show once more, days after the second season of Stranger Things was released, Brown decided to give fans of the show a brief recap of the first season. And she launched into an epic rap:
“Let’s go back to Indiana, circa 1983
Just four boys in the basement chillin’ playin’ D&D
There was Lucas there was Willy Will and Dustin, there was Mike
But one night Will goes missing while he’s riding on his bike – yikes!
That’s when they met me Elev
I had no hair on my head
I had been so close to dead
Courtesy of Dr Brenner who’s huntin’ me twenty-four sev”
She covered all the major plot points, highlighted some of the season’s most notable moments, destroyed the Demogorgon and, true to character, was unable to “l’eggo” of the eggo.
As it turns out, Brown is not the only one on the sets of Stranger Things with musical skills. Watch Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin:
