Watch (and decide what you hear): Brainstorm or Green Needle is the new Yanni or Laurel
Someone’s discovered aural ambiguity in a device featuring a cartoon character (of all things).
The Yanni or Laurel debate is far from over. But already, a new audio ambiguity is doing the rounds. Extracted from a video review featuring the characters of the animation series Ben 10 Alien force, this clip has viewers divided over whether they hear the name of the character, ‘Brainstorm’, or, for some reason, the words ‘green needle’.
In this case, one of the theories is that you hear what you want to hear. Think about either of the two options, and that’s the one you’ll register.
