Watch: Ariana Grande and James Corden re-enact ‘Titanic’ with a medley of pop songs
The pop singer and the late night TV show host collaborated for a 13-song tribute to the James Cameron film.
More than 20 years after its release, the popularity of the Titanic soundtrack will go on. Pop singer Ariana Grande and American late night TV show host James Corden revisited the film and took audiences back to the ship of dreams when they created an alternate soundtrack to the James Cameron movie, using a medley of pop songs.
Grande and Corden staged a mini Broadway musical retelling, singing Styx’s Come Sail Away as they boarded the ill-fated ship, Hall & Oates’s Rich Girl as they mused over their wealth gap, and the Foo Fighters’ Learn to Fly as they stood at the bow of the ship, recreating the most famous scene from the film, going on till the end, when Jack dies on a block of ice.
Of course, the soundtrack is incomplete without Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On – so Grande did her best Dion impression and performed the Oscar-winning theme song too.
