A five-year-old survived a road accident in which a motorcycle kept moving with her on it even after her parents were thrown off.

In the incident that was recorded on a dash-cam and later posted on social media, the motorcycle hit a scooter on the busy Bengaluru-Tumkur highway. Due to the impact of the crash, it continued moving for almost 300 metres, with the child still perched on it.

Miraculously, it neither fell nor hit any other vehicle before hitting the divider after slowing down. The child then landed safely on the grass verge. Her parents – neither of whom was wearing helmets – and the scooterist whom their vehicle hit suffered minor injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital, reports said.
