Straying from the beaten path of jokes about Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi, a Delhi-based comedian decided to mine a different lode of humour by mocking other politicians.
In his most recent stand-up set brimming with political jokes, comedian Rajneesh Kapoor took on everyone from BJP President Amit Shah to Tripura CM Biplab Deb for their bizarre statements and actions.
He also pointed out the tactics used by the government to distract people’s attention from certain issues, “I think anytime the government has a problem, they call up some chief minister (and say) ‘Bhiayya, say something stupid.’”
