Richard Linklater's study of the few highs and several lows of a middle-class American family is getting a limited release after packed screenings at last month's Mumbai Film Festival. Boyhood will open alongside the latest Yash Raj Films product, Kill Dill, and the Keanu Reeves action thriller John Wick.

Boyhood

We follow a boy through childhood and adolescence. His parents get divorced, he gets two fathers, he changes schools, he falls in love. Indie sweetheart Richard Linklater made Boyhood over a 12-year period, using the same set of actors throughout.

Kill Dill

Shaad Ali's latest crime caper, scored by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy with lyrics by Gulzar, stars Govinda, Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra. Govinda is the thug who trains the characters played by Singh and Zafar to follow in his footsteps. Love, represented by the bubbly Ms Chopra, proves to be the saviour and the villain.

John Wick

Keanu Reeves leaps back into the martial arts matrix as a retired hitman who is roused into action when undesirables kill his pet pooch, which had been gifted to him by his dearly beloved dead wife.
