Stunt pilot Chad Barber was out practising stunts in his plane, only to realise 2,500 feet off the ground that his engine had run out of fuel mid-flight. It wasn’t that that the tank was empty – it was just that the fuel wasn’t reaching the engine.

Even as he struggled to restart his stalled engine, a camera on board was capturing the view from the cockpit. Including that heart-stopping moment when the plane appeared to roll over 360 degrees.

The video, posted by Barber Aviation, is all the more terrifying when you consider that much of it was shot with the pilot trying desperately to get the fuel supply going again so that the engine could be restarted. Fortunately, Barber got things under control before the plane could plummet to the ground.
