Haryana Board HSC result 2018: BSEH 12th result declared, 63.84% clear exam
The HBSE class 12 results has been declared. Girls did substantially better than boys with 72.38% of girls passing the exam versus just 57.10% of boys.
The Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH) has declared the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or 12th class exam today, May 18th, at its Bhiwani headquarters. According to the Times of India, Jagbir Singh, BSEH chairman, announced that 63.84% passed the examination. The candidates who appeared for the examination can check their result at the official website of the BSEH, bseh.org.in.
The Board chairman announced that girls registered a pass percentage of 72.38% and boys secured a pass percentage of just 57.1%. Around 2.46 lakh students attended the Haryana Class 12 exams, which were held from March 7th to April 2nd.
In 2017, students had registered a pass percentage of 64.5%. And in the previous year, too, girls outperformed boys by securing 73.44% versus 57.58%, as reported by NDTV.
Unlike last year, this year the private schools did slightly better than government schools, with a pass percentage of 64.02%. In contrast, government school secured a 63.62% pass percentage.
How to check the BSEH 2018 12th result
- Log on to the official BSEH website.
- Click on the 12th result link.
- Enter all the required details and click on submit.
- The marks will be displayed and can be printed out.
Students can also check their Haryana 12th result via text message by messaging HB12<space><ROLLNUMBER> to 56263.
Indian Express reports that this year the state registered a total of 4,976 cases of use of unfair means in the class 12 and class 10 exams, which is less than those found using unfair means during the previous year when 5,300 cases were registered. The board had put in place more than 300 flying squads with almost 23,000 supervisors to check this.
