Bihar 10th result date postponed again, BSEB to declare Bihar board Matric result 2018 on June 26th
The news that the Bihar 10th results would likely be postponed came amidst reports that the Bihar board lost 42,000 copies of Matric 10th class answer sheets.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) was expected to announce the results of the 2018 10th board exam today, June 20th, but according to several reports, the BSEB 10th result date 2018 has been postponed yet again. Now, the BSEB is expected to declare the Bihar 10th class results on June 26th at 11 a.m.
On Tuesday, TimesNow reported that 42,000 copies of answer sheets of the Bihar 10th class exam had gone missing. Apparently, school authorities from SS Balika Inter School in Gopalganj filed an FIR stating that 200 bags of answer sheets had gone missing. The principal of the school has reportedly been detained by the police.
Around 17.7 lakh students have appeared for the BSEB 2018 10th class exam. When declared, the Bihar 10th Matric results will be made available at the board’s official website, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Bihar class 10 students will also be able to check their BSEB Matric results at third-party websites like indiaresults.com.
In 2017, the Bihar board declared the class 10th results on June 22nd. The pass percentage of the Bihar 10th exam was very poor - just half of the students (50.12%) managed to clear the exam.

- When the Bihar 10th results are released, log on to the Bihar board’s official website.
- Click on the link for the BSEB 10th class results.
- Enter the necessary details and click on submit.
- Your Bihar board 10th class marks will be displayed. You can print them out for reference.
The board had declared the results of the Bihar class 12th examination on June 6th, which saw a pass percentage of 52.95%. Science stream students performed quite poorly, with just 44% students clearing the exam. In contrast, 61% of Arts students and 91.32% of Commerce students cleared the exam.
