DU third cut-off list released, around 23,000 seats still vacant
DU releases 3rd cut-off list. The SRCC, which runs two courses (BCom Honours and Economics), closed its admission process after the second cut-off.
Delhi University (DU) released the third merit-based undergraduate course cut-off list for the academic year 2018-19. According to latest reports, around 23,000 seats were still up for grabs when the third DU cut-off was released. Among prominent colleges, SRCC, which runs two courses - BCom Honours and Economics - closed its admission process after the second round of admissions.
The overall cut-off marks for other prominent colleges are hovering in the 96% to 98% range in the third DU cut-off list. The English Honours and Economics cut-off at Lady Shri Ram College stood at 97.25% and 97.5%, respectively; whereas Hindu College has closed admissions for most courses except BA (English), BA (Economics), BCom (Honours), and BSc Chemistry, where the cut-off marks stood at 96.75%, 97.5%, 97%, and 96.66%, respectively.
For most colleges, BA and BCom admissions are closed, but science stream students can still expect few seats in future cut-off lists.

The admission based on the DU’s third cut-off will commence on June 30th and run up to July 3rd, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for morning colleges and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for evening colleges. Students who meet the third cut-off requirement for admissions to Delhi University colleges should follow these steps:
- Log in to the DU admission student portal.
- Select courses and college, and a corresponding admission form will be generated.
- Approach the college with completed admission form and all the required documents.
- After taking the principal’s approval, pay the requisite fee to confirm the seat.
The first cut-off for the DU University UG 2018-19 admission was released on June 19th and the second cut-off was released on June 24th. The university has scheduled five cut-off rounds this year and the process of admission will go on till July 14th.
