Oppo India on Friday unveiled a new mid-range smartphone Oppo A3s for a price tag of Rs 10,990, the Firstpost reported. The smartphone gets a dual rear camera setup along with an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled front camera for enhanced selfie experience.

The Chinese phonemaker aims to target the young buyers with this new and affordable model equipped with “music party” feature. This function would allow users to connect multiple smartphones with versions of Oppo’s own Android-based ColorOS 5.1 or above to play the same track using hotspot, eliminating the need for speakers.

“With A3s, we aim to offer consumers, especially youth, who are looking for an advanced camera phone that offers a strong battery life,” Will Yang, brand director, OPPO India, was quoted by the First Post.

The smartphone boasts of a 6.2-inch super full-notch screen, with dual camera setup 13MP and 2 MP at the rear. On the front-end it is equipped with a 8 MP AI-enabled beauty technology camera. Oppo A3s will be sold in two colours and will be available online and in retail stores from July 15th.
