The results of the State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) preliminary exam were declared on late Monday, July 16th. The results were expected on Sunday, July 15th, as per the official SBI schedule, but were delayed. Candidates who are awaiting the SBI PO Prelim results can visit SBI’s career page, sbi.co.in/careers to access it.

The result notification also confirmed the date of phase II exam, or the Main exam, which is scheduled for August 4th. Candidates who have cleared the SBI PO Prelim exam and thus qualified for the PO Main exam can download their call letter from July 20th onwards.

How to check SBI PO 2018 prelim results

  1. Visit the SBI Careers page.
  2. Hover over the ‘Join SBI’ tab and click on ‘Current Openings’.
  3. Click on Recruitment of Probationary Officers and click on ‘Preliminary Exam Results (New)’.
  4. A new PDF document will open with a list of candidate registration numbers. These are the candidates who have qualified to appear for the SBI PO Main exam.

SBI released its notification for the recruitment of 2,118 SBI Probationary Officers on April 21st this year. Candidates were invited to apply for the positions, and online registrations and applications ran up to May 13th. The preliminary examination was conducted on July 1st, 7th, and 8th.
