Pictures of Xiaomi’s fitness band, the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition, with a translucent strap, have been posted by the company’s official account on Weibo, indicating that the device may be launched soon for its Mijia platform in China.

Multiple pictures available a Mijia’s Weibo page show the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition from various angles. From what can be gauged from the photos, the rubber strap, which seems to sport a translucent effect, is the latest Mi Band’s standout feature. The rest of the fitness band’s design resembles that of the Mi Band 3, which was launched earlier.

It is quite likely that Explorer Edition of the Mi Band 3 could be launched in multiple colour options similar to its sibling. However, the company has not yet revealed price details, availability or technical enhancement details of the product.

Currently available Mi Band 3 sports a 0.78-inch capacitive OLED display with incoming call and text message alerts, current time, steps taken, and heart rate count features. This model provides sleep monitoring features and is equipped with a 110mAh battery, which the company claims can last for a 20 days on stand-by after a full charge.
