Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar, released the written exam result for the recruitment of driver constables for Bihar Police and Fireman Driver for Bihar Fire Service. All candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the official CSBC website, csbc.bih.nic.in, to access the result.

CSBC had released the notification for the vacancies on February 20th. The drive is being conducted to fill 1669 vacancies, 700 for constable drivers and 969 for fireman drivers. The CSBC in the result notification stated that the they had received 54,310 applications of which 30,049 candidates managed to score the minimum marks to qualify for the next round. The notification also stated that the Board had received 124 ‘error-free applications’ from women of which 69 managed to clear the exam.

All successful candidates qualify for the next stage of recruitment which will test physical endurance of all the candidates. The notification of the result also details the category-wise breakdown of the vacancies and category-wise breakdown of all the selected candidates.
