11:56 am: Pune district has scored 87.88% and Mumbai region 83.85%. Nagpur which is at the bottom of the district ranking has scored 82.81%.

11:36 am: Konkan has bagged the top spot in district-wise performance with 93.3% students from the district clearing the exam. Nagpur is reportedly at the bottom in the district list, reports Indianexpress.com.

11:34 am: Girls have outperformed boys, which is no longer a surprise. Girls have scored a percentage of 90.25% and boys just about managed 82.4%.

11:27 am: In 2018, as reported earlier, the students had scored a pass percentage of 92.36% and this year it’s around 6 percentage points less.

11:23 am: The Board has declared the Maharashtra 12th result. The pass percentage has taken a massive dip of around 6 percentage points. Students have just managed to score 85.88% pass percentage, reports Indianexpress.com.

10:47 am: Since 2014, Maharashtra HSC students have managed to score a pass percentage of above 90%. In 2014, it was 93.5%, 2015 - 94.29%, 2016 - 90.5%, 2017 - 93.05%, and in 2018 - 92.36%.

10:09 am: In 2018, girls did scored a better pass percentage than boys with 92.36% of girls passing the exam and 85.23% of boys.

9:51 am: In 2018, the board had declared the 12th class result on May 30th. The pass percentage that year was 88.41%.

9:38 am: Most of the other state boards and central boards had declared the 12th and 10th board results earlier this year. However, Maharashtra board has not followed the pattern and is declaring the result, as every year, in the last week of May.
