Emotions ran wild on Friday, as the Mumbai High Court allowed Salman Khan regular bail and it became clear that the Bollywood star will not have to spend time in jail while the appeal is being heard by the High Court.

The decision came two days after a trial court sentenced Khan for culpable homiacide not amounting to murder among other charges and sentenced him to five years in jail in a hit-and-run case from 2002.

In a 240 pages long verdict, the Mumbai Sessions Court held him guilty on all charges and sentenced jail but he had soon received interim bail on the same day by appealing in the High Court.

The news of regular bail for Khan was received with emotive reactions on Twitter as soon as it broke.
