FILM Singapore Film Festival at India Habitat Centre
Three films, each made in 2015, will be screened over the three-day festival. On Friday, 7 Letters, which comprises seven shorts about the city-state, in English, Tamil, Malay, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese, by Singaporean directors, will be shown at the Stein Auditorium. On Saturday, Ng Xi Jie’s English documentary Singapore Minstrel, which follows busker Roy Payamal, who is of Indian origin, will be screened at the Stein Auditorium. On Sunday, Utter, a set of three animated shorts, in English, based on stories by Singaporean authors, will be screened at Gulmohar Hall. There is no entry fee.
