Two days ago, Rakhi Sawant showcased a photo of her one-of-a-kind dress emblazoned with photos of Narendra Modi including a particularly strategically placed prime ministerial hand. Predictably, it sent social media into a tizzy soon and images of Sawant in the dress began going viral.
The placement of Modi's hand upon Rakhi Sawant's bottom is either a hilarious joke or an unfortunate coincidence. pic.twitter.com/A6OICcarHL

Now, the mystery has been solved by Sawant herself. In this video, the actress explains the hows and whys behind her eyeball-grabbing dress. "Every Indian has a right to their Prime Minister. In America, a lot of woman wear their flags as a two-piece. I didn't do something like that. I am a Modi lover. I am a BJP lover. I had sent this dress to a few of Amit Shah's assistants for approval. Only after I got that approval, did I wear this costume," she said.
No Rakhi PLEASE PLEASE don't wear Modi Ji as a two piece suit😱@AmitShah is this dress BJP approved as she claims??😵 pic.twitter.com/3QHOzmvWSl

Things could get worse.

When she's not making deeply thought out sartorial choices, Sawant can be seen asking the questions that really matter. "Why, despite all the taxes we pay, are we are not getting the good life?"
"Saare taxes lete hai, phir bhi we're not getting a good life in India, why?" asks Rakhi Sawanthttps://t.co/BdakYPHDIU
