The big news: India win third ODI in Mohali
Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli and one-day captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni stitched together a 151-run partnership to help the hosts chase 286 against New Zealand with seven wickets to spare in the third One-Day International in Mohali on Sunday. With this authoritative win, India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
Kohli smashed an unbeaten 154, while Dhoni was out for 80, as the two took India from 41/2 to 192/3 with a match-winning partnership. New Zealand were outdone by the duo, who were at their sublime best as they dismantled the Kiwi bowling attack. India now face New Zealand on October 26 in Dhoni’s hometown Ranchi.
