Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had a dreadful start to his Old Trafford career, having not scored in the last six matches. But, he may soon get an escape route from his misery with reports on Saturday suggesting that the LA Galaxy are interested in signing the striker after his ongoing one-year deal with Manchester United expires.

Ibrahimovic is enduring one of the worst goal-scoring droughts of his career. The striker may want to spend the twilight of his career with LA Galaxy, similar to former superstars David Beckham and Steven Gerrard. United mainstay Wayne Rooney is another star Galaxy are interested in, but the news of the pursuit of Ibrahimovic could come as a blow to the England captain.

However, the former Swedish professional does have the option to extend his contract with United and could yet be determined to turn his fortunes around.
