On Thursday, Virat Kohli sent out a couple of tweets stating that his statement of not being friends with the Australian cricket team was blown out of proportion.
After beating Australia 2-1 in the recently concluded four-match Test series, Kohli said that he no longer considers Australia cricketers his friends, after being a target of regular banter on and off the field.
1/2 My answer at the post match conference has been blown way out of proportion. I did not categorically say the whole Australian team but

When quizzed that if he still considered Steve Smith’s men his friends off the field, Kohli had said, “I thought that was the case, but it has changed for sure,” Kohli said. “In the heat of the battle, you want to be competitive, but yeah I have been proven wrong. The thing I said before the first Test, I have certainly been proven wrong and you won’t hear me say that ever again.”
2/2only a couple of individuals.I continue to be in good terms with the few guys I know & who I've played with at RCB & that doesn't change.

However, Kohli’s tweets clears the air a little. Kohli may miss the start of the tenth edition of the IPL as he is yet to recover from a shoulder injury he sustained during the third Test at Bangalore.
