A tantrik is the Grand Alliance's fourth partner, says Modi
The Prime Minister claimed that Nitish Kumar backed black magic, and said the BJP would bring democracy instead.
Prime Minister Narendar Modi on Sunday mocked the Grand Alliance in Bihar, saying a fourth person had joined Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav and the Congress – a tantrik. A video of Janata Dal (United) chief Kumar visiting a tantrik has gone viral after the Bharatiya Janata Partyreleased it on Saturday. Modi also dubbed Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal the "Rashtriya Jaadu-Tona [sorcery] Dal".
Claiming his development agenda was the answer to what he called the Grand Alliance’s hocus-pocus, Modi insisted that his party would bring democracy to Bihar. He said his party had a six-point development plan for the state, which included electricity, water, roads, education, employment and medicine for all. Modi is addressing four poll meetings in Bihar on Sunday, and 17 over the next six days.
